Frequently Asked Questions

What is the weather like in March?

March is a fantastic time to visit Turkey for golf. During our 2026 International Finals we enjoyed glorious sunshine all week, with warm temperatures perfect for golf.

We recommend packing shorts, t-shirts, light layers and sun cream, as the weather is usually warm and pleasant during the day.

Do I need to play in Golf In Scotland events to join the Turkey Tournament?

No, you don’t need to have played in any of our events before.
As long as you have an official handicap and are a member of a golf club, you are very welcome to join us in Turkey.

Can I play with my friends?

Yes, of course.
If you are travelling with friends or as a group, we can arrange tee times so you play together throughout the week.

I’m travelling alone – can I still join?

Absolutely.

We have many single golfers who join us each year. Our group is very friendly and welcoming, and it’s a great opportunity to meet like-minded golfers.

Many players who first joined us as individuals have since made great friendships and now travel together to our events.

Will the tournament rounds count towards my handicap?

Unfortunately we cannot submit international rounds for your official handicap.

However, we adjust handicaps throughout the week based on scoring to ensure a fair competition and keep things competitive for everyone.

Can I bring my wife, husband or partner?

Yes.

We welcome both male and female golfers, and many players bring non-golfing partners who enjoy the fantastic resort facilities while the golf is taking place.

Will I need lots of golf balls?

Yes… it’s always wise to bring a few extras!

Can I get a single room?

Yes. Single rooms are available for a single supplement of £500.

What baggage is included in my booking?
Your booking includes:

  • Golf bag allowance – up to 22kg
  • Checked baggage – up to 22kg
  • Carry-on luggage – up to 10kg

This gives you plenty of room for both your golf equipment and holiday essentials.

Can I play additional golf during the week?

Yes.

You will have days off from the main tournament, where you can either relax at the resort or play additional rounds at other fantastic courses in the area.

Many golfers choose to play up to 6 or 7 rounds during the week, including popular options such as Carya night golf.

Are golf buggies available?

Yes.

Golf buggies can be booked for each round and usually cost around 35 - 60 euros per buggy, which can be shared between two players.

What if I don’t know anyone on the trip?

Don’t worry — our events are known for their friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

With over 200 golfers attending, you’ll quickly meet plenty of people and enjoy the social side of the trip both on and off the course.
